Jyotisha Courses
Jyotisha is one of the six Vedanga (limbs of the Vedas). The importance is given to Jyotisha such that it is regarded as the eyes of Veda Purusha. This divine knowledge is part of our rich cultural heritage. Our seers have given us the dictums of astrology that are time-tested. Applying these astrological dictums matters pertaining to different facets of the life of human beings and mundane matters can be predicted. It involves understanding the significance of planets, bhavas, yogas, and predictive principles and their application in a real-life situation.
ICAS shares this rich treasure of knowledge with the knowledge seekers. We are following techniques prescribed in our classical texts.
Jyotisha Praveena
This is a one-year basic course in Astrology. The course covers basic astronomy, casting the horoscope and fundamental knowledge of the zodiac, planets, rasis and houses. Basic knowledge of delineation is also imparted in order to ascertain the strength of the horoscope. The effect of transit and muhurta is also covered in this course. This course consists of two semesters of two papers each.

Topics like Horary, Medical Astrology, Longevity etc. strengthen the practical aspect of astrology. Mundane astrology gives a wider horizon as these talk about the world than the individual. This course consists of two semesters of three papers each.
