ICAS is a formally registered Apex body of top-notch astrologers of the country involved in imparting education, certification, and examination of true Vedic astrology to the aspirants. Apex body is famous for its reach and centres across the country.

Founded by Dr. B V Raman and now headed by Mr. A.B. Shukla, IAS ICAS has the credit of re-establishing and making people believe again in astrology in post-independent India.

ICAS was established in 1984 for taking astrology from the preserve of a few Brahmin families to the Common People with the objective to study the spiritual inherent in astrology with scientific spirit & restore the glory of Jyotish in the so-called Modern Age & Time.

Dr. Raman’s Vision was that “ICAS will achieve its objective only if teachers teach astrology seriously and make students earn their title with hard work marked by earnestness to learn.”

“ICAS” Indian Council of Astrological Sciences, Gorakhpur Chapter is a centre for the study of Vedic Astrology. The Chapter is dedicated to fulfilling the vision of Dr. B. V. Raman by imparting education and guidance in the field of Astrology. The Chapter conducts weekly online & offline classes.

We believe that Astrological Education is very necessary for Atma Gyan (self-knowledge), eventually strengthening the moral and ethical values of our society.
